My name is Jim Clouse, and I custom build each Battleboard to your specifications. Like you, I’m a collector and have been active in the toy soldier hobby for many years, in a variety of ways. Along with being the webmaster for Playset Magazine, Barzso Playsets and Minutemen Toy Soldiers, I sculpt buildings or Barzso Playsets.
I’ve had the great pleasure to work with Ron Barzso on numerous projects over the past 4 years, including 2009’s Zorro Playset and Spanish Fort of Old California, the Daniel Boone Playset and his Robin Hood/Medieval range.
One of the main ideas behind Battleboards is to make it possible to offer each collector the display board he or she wants, in the exact size that is needed. I’ll make a Battleboard that fits the space you have available for your display, be it large or small (larger boards may have to be constructed in two or more sections). From time to time I’ll have pre-made boards available for purchase. Please feel free to contact me for availability of pre-made boards, or to place your custom order.
